Privacy Policy

ibis studio K.K. (the “Company”) fully recognizes its social responsibility for protecting all personal information it handles, and respects the rights of individuals and complies with laws and regulations on personal information. The Company has established a personal information protection management system to put the following policy into practice, and the entire company commits to its continuous improvement while keeping track of trends in IT, changes in social demands and changes in the business environment.
- Our policy
A) The Company obtains, uses and provides personal information only to the extent necessary for its legitimate business, as well as for the employment and personnel management of its employees, and does not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the specified purposes of use. The Company takes measures to prevent such use.
B) The Company complies with laws, national guidelines and other rules on the protection of personal information.
C) The Company takes reasonable security measures against the risk of leakage, loss or damage of personal information, and continuously improves its security. If a problem is found, the Company promptly takes corrective action.
D) The Company responds promptly, sincerely and appropriately to complaints and inquiries about the handling of personal information.
E) The Company reviews its personal information protection management system in a timely and appropriate manner in light of changes in its environment, and continuously improves it.
- Instagram data (Social Feed by grip space)
When a user connects an Instagram professional account (Business or Creator) to Social Feed by grip space or the Instagram widget of grip.space (together, the “Feature”), the Company obtains, stores and uses the following data.
- Data we obtain
• The user ID, username and account type of the connected Instagram account
• The Instagram API access token and its expiration date
• Posts of the connected account (images, videos, captions, posting dates, number of likes, etc.)
Posts are retrieved from Instagram and displayed each time a widget is shown; they are not stored on the Company’s servers. We do not obtain information about users other than the connected account, direct messages or the like.
- Purposes of use
• To display the posts of the connected account as a widget on the user’s website
• To show the connection status (which account is connected) in the dashboard
- View counts
The Company counts the number of times widgets are displayed on a daily basis. This count does not include information that identifies website visitors (IP addresses, cookies, URLs of pages viewed, etc.).
- Retention and deletion
• When the user disconnects the account in the dashboard, the Company deletes the access token, account information and widget settings for that Instagram account.
• When the user removes the app from Instagram, or requests deletion of data through Meta, the Company performs the same deletion upon receiving the notification sent by Meta.
• When the access token expires, the widget can no longer display posts.
- Sharing with third parties
We do not provide or sell the data we obtain to any third party. We use the Instagram API of Meta Platforms, Inc. to retrieve posts.
- Payment information
Payments for paid plans of Social Feed by grip space are processed by the payment service of Stripe, Inc. Card numbers and other payment information are managed by Stripe and are not held by the Company. To manage subscriptions, the Company stores the subscription ID, customer ID and payment status issued by Stripe.
- Requests for disclosure, correction or deletion
To request disclosure, correction, suspension of use or deletion of your Instagram connection data, please contact us at info@grip-space.co.jp.
