How to embed your Instagram feed in Wix
You do not need an app from the Wix App Market. Add an Embed HTML element to your page, paste one embed code, and your Instagram posts appear and stay up to date.

Before you start: get your embed code
- Sign up for Social Feed by grip space with your email address. The Free plan lets you create one widget.
- In the dashboard, click “+ Connect Instagram account” and connect an Instagram professional account (Business or Creator). A personal account can be switched to a professional account for free in the Instagram app.
- Open “Settings & preview”, choose a grid or a slider, set the number of posts and columns while checking the preview, and save.
- Under “Add the embed code to your website”, click “Copy”. The code looks like this:
<script type="text/javascript" src="https://n246.grip.space/api/v1/instagram/widget/xxxxxxxx"></script>The posts appear exactly where you paste this code. Keep it handy for the next steps.
Add the feed with an Embed HTML element
- Open your site in the Wix Editor and go to the page where you want the feed.
- Click Add Elements on the left side of the editor, then Embed Code → Popular Embeds → Embed HTML.
- Click the new element on the page, then click Enter Code.
- Paste the embed code under Add your code here and click Apply.
- Drag the element to where you want the feed, and drag its handles to make it as wide as the area you want.
- Publish your site and open the live page to check the feed.
Adjust the height of the element
Wix shows embedded code inside a box (an iframe) with the size you set in the editor. The box does not grow with its content, so make it tall enough for all the posts you show, or posts at the bottom are cut off.
A slider layout works especially well on Wix: it shows one row of posts, so its height stays the same and is easy to fit. With a grid, check the live page on a computer and on a phone, and adjust the height if needed.
If your posts do not appear
- Check that the widget is set to Published in the dashboard. An unpublished widget shows nothing.
- Make sure the whole code was pasted, from
<scriptto</script>. - Look at the published page, not the editor. Many editors do not run scripts while you are editing.
- If the box is empty on the live site, open the element again and make sure you clicked Apply after pasting, then publish again.
- If posts are cut off at the bottom or on the right, make the element taller or wider in the editor, then publish again.
Get your embed code in a few minutes. The Free plan needs no credit card.
